Charles Edward Mugleston, 65, peacefully slipped away from this earthly life and returned to live with our Heavenly Father the morning of August 25, 2014, as a result of renal cell carcinoma. He was born April 23, 1949 in Lynwood, California to Charles Lehi Mugleston and Josephine Brown Mugleston.
He was raised in Commerce, CA, where he attended school and developed a love for 2 of his favorite things – music and the ocean. After graduating from high school he served a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in the Finland Helsinki mission. Upon returning from his mission, he finished his studies at UCLA and graduated with his bachelor degree in Biology. He worked for several years as a steel worker at Cal Strip Steel. He married his eternal companion, Susie Pulvino, March 19, 1976 in the Los Angeles Temple. He worked as an Industrial Engineer, developing and monitoring industrial wastewater equipment for companies throughout California. In 1989, he and Sue moved their five children from Southern California to St. George. Upon retiring from the wastewater industry, he became a licensed pharmacy technician working at the Bloomington Wal-Mart Pharmacy which he loved and where he made many dear friends. He loved the ocean and had many adventures fishing and scuba diving in the Pacific Ocean throughout his life, a love he passed on to his children. His biggest priority in life was doing what was right for his family. He will always be remembered by his family and those who knew him as a kind, loving, gentle man.
