ST. GEORGE – As the annual St. George Book Festival approaches – scheduled to take place Oct. 20-25 – festival organizers are seeking both sponsors and local authors to support and take part in the event.
An event called “Authorpalooza” will kick off the book festival on Oct. 20 at Barnes & Noble in St. George, and authors with books in major distribution or that are being sold at Barnes & Noble are invited to participate in the event, according to a press release. Participating authors are invited to speak, sign books and present readings during Authorpalooza, and authors can also sign up for additional participation opportunities throughout the weeklong festival. Authors interested in participating may sign up here.
Sponsors are also being sought to help support the festival. Various sponsorship levels are available, and donors can also sponsor tables at the Book Expo and charity dinner. Donations are additionally needed for a silent auction that will take place at the book festival. For sponsorship information or to make a donation, contact VS Grenier via email or by phone at 435-625-1743. To donate to the St. George Book Festival via PayPal, visit this link.
