Tonya Lyn Wittwer, 54, passed away peacefully with her family by her side due to complications from a brain tumor on August 4, 2014 in St. George, Utah.

She was born on June 10, 1960 in Newport Beach, California to Herb and Linda Norcross.  Tonya spent the first part of her life in Southern California.  As a young girl she enjoyed reading books and going to the beach.  She loved visiting there and returned to the beach as often as possible.

Later she moved to St. George where she met Jeffery Wittwer, the love of her life and high school sweetheart.  They were sealed for time and eternity in the Saint George LDS Temple on June 3, 1983.  Tonya’s greatest joy in life was her family.  She never missed a piano recital, baseball game, or concert.  She was the best grandma that her five grandchildren could have ever asked for.

Tonya had many hobbies including swimming with her friends, having Sunday dinners with her family, shopping, reading and collecting many different types of things.  She was a faithful member of the LDS Church serving in many callings, showing love and compassion to those she served.

She will be remembered for her wonderfully unique personality, beautiful smile, and being the most caring, giving, and selfless person on this earth.

Tonya is survived by her husband Jeffery Wittwer, and her children: Jace (Lauren) Wittwer of Ivins, Utah, Nikell (Ashton) Dodge of St.  George,  Utah, Dax (Marissa) Wittwer of Bountiful, Utah, and Dallen Wittwer, her parents  Herb and Linda Norcross, sister Teresa McCard, and brother Shaun Norcross, parents-in-law  RaeNyce and Doodle Wittwer, as well as many other family members, co-workers, and friends.  Tonya is also survived by the lights of her life, her grandchildren: Sophie (Tweetie), Tanner, Trevor, Maverick, Aislynn, and a sixth grandson due this September.

This earth will not be the same without you Tonya.  Until we meet again.
