Flash Flood Warning for Washington County, Zion National Park

WASHINGTON COUNTY — The National Weather Service has issued a “Flash Flood Warning” for east central Washington County, effective Tuesday until 7:15 p.m.

At 4:16 p.m., Doppler Radar indicated a thunderstorm producing heavy rain over Zion National Park. Thunderstorm activity over the park continues to produce rainfall amounts near an inch in a very short period of time.

Some locations that will experience flooding include Zion National Park, Springdale and Rockville.
