Main Street awakens: 17th annual July Jamboree car show

CEDAR CITY — Enjoy live music, tasty food and hot rods galore along Cedar City’s historic downtown Main Street this weekend during the 17th annual July Jamboree Car Show, sponsored by Tink’s Superior Auto Parts. The event, which is free to the public, will also feature live bands and showcase a variety of vendors.

Car preregistration for participants will take place Friday at Crystal Inn, 1575 W. 200 North, from 5:30-8 p.m. There will be live music, barbecue and a cash bar.

The car entry fee is $30 and includes:

  • Breakfast for two
  • Rod Run
  • Car show
  • T-shirt (first 200 paid entries)
  • Goodie bag (first 200 paid entries)
  • Awards

Multiple vehicle entries are no additional charge.

On Saturday, a breakfast buffet will be served at the Garden House restaurant, 164 S. 100 West, from 8:30-10:30 a.m. The Rod Run will take place from 10 a.m.-noon followed by the Show and Shine, which will take place along Main Street from 4-9 p.m.
