ST. GEORGE – Police are seeking a man suspected of robbing a credit union on River Road Thursday evening. Authorities are asking for the public’s help in finding the suspect.
At approximately 5:40 p.m. Thursday, the Mountain America Credit Union at 123 S. River Road was robbed, according to a statement from the St. George Police Department.
The suspect entered the bank and handed the teller a note demanding money. He then left the bank on foot, traveling in an unknown direction with an undisclosed amount of money.
The suspect is described as having a medium build and being between 5 feet 4 inches and 5 feet 6 inches tall. He has tan skin, brown hair and facial hair stubble and was wearing sunglasses, a white hat, green T-shirt and blue flannel shirt at the time of the robbery.
The suspect did not display a weapon, and no injuries were reported as a result of the incident, police said in the statement.
