WASHINGTON CITY – A red Mazda passenger car collided with a small silver SUV that was pulling a boat this morning.
The accident occurred on the Washington Parkway overpass. The collision sent the red Mazda into the Interstate 15 on ramp guard rail, and jack knifed the SUV and trailer.
The accident caused traffic slowing on the on-ramp from Washington Parkway to I-15 northbound and traffic going north across the parkway overpass being turned back while emergency crews worked to clean up the wreck.
“The silver SUV exited the freeway at the Washington Parkway,” Washington City Police spokesman Ed Kantor. “The silver SUV then decided to re-enter the freeway running the stop sign and colliding with the red passenger car which was headed north bound.”
The man driving the SUV, out of Nevada, was cited for running the stop sign, Kantor said. The woman driving the red Mazda was transported to Dixie Regional Medical Center in St. George for evaluation due to the impact of the crash.

Be careful when driving Cedar Cyn a lot of NV morons will pass you on a curve, of course not all NV drivers up there, but every time I go to Duck Creek area I see it happen.
Yep your right. My mom was headed down to cedar from duck one day long ago and three idiots pass her like she was standing still, then she’s the one who gets pulled over for speeding. I was watching her speedometer when she got passed up by the idiots and she was going the speed limit! It was the last corner just before cedar too.
