Jane Foremaster Sullivan, 92, died June 17, 2014 in St. George, Utah. Jane was born April 6, 1922, to Ephraim Joseph Foremaster Jr. and Golda Pritchard Foremaster.
She was born and raised in St. George, Utah and attended Dixie High School. Jane worked for the Telephone Company before and after her marriage. She married John Richard Sullivan on June 22, 1941 in the St. George Temple. They resided in Las Vegas, Nevada for two years while Dick worked for Standard Oil until he was drafted into the US Army, and Jane moved back to St. George. Jane loved spending time with her family, camping and arrowhead hunting, especially at the ranch on the Arizona Strip. She loved reading, sewing and playing cards. After Dick’s death in 1985, she worked in the LDS Extraction Program and earned her 15 year pin.
Jane and Dick had 3 children, Virginia (Thomas) Holyoak of Cedar City, Susan (Frank) Kell and Jo Ann (Dean) Jones of St. George, Utah. Jane had 13 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren and 21 great-great grandchildren. She is also survived by two sisters and two brothers-in-law. Jane is preceded in death by her parents, husband, granddaughter, three sisters and a brother.
- There will be graveside services only Saturday, June 21, 2014 at 1 p.m. in the St. George City Cemetery.
