Devin Asher Corry

Corry, Devin(December 3, 1987 – May 12, 2014)

Devin Asher Corry, age 26, passed away on Monday, May 12, 2014. He was born December 3, 1987 in San Antonio, Texas.

When Devin was age 3 he moved with his family to Cedar City, Utah where they lived for eight years at which time they moved to St. George, Utah. Devin graduated from Pine View High School in 2006 as one of the valedictorians. He received a full-ride scholarship to Occidental College for the Liberal Arts in Eagle Rock, California. In 2010 he moved to Albuquerque, New Mexico and pursued other interests before moving back to St. George about a year later. Devin attended Dixie State University, where he studied English and Technical Writing.

For his mother, Cynthia Renee Morris, Devin was and is the greatest teacher who taught her to break through all the illusions in order to get to the truth of love, which has no bounds or conditions. He offered the same experience to any who were open to receive. He was a powerful visionary who will be kept in our hearts in this dimension, while inspiring us from the next. Devin’s intense passion amplified the highs and the lows of life, enabling him to deeply experience the full spectrum of human existence. He was fiercely beautiful and brilliant. And now he is free to experience all that IS.

Devin is survived by his many family members, by both blood and by bond. Parents:  mother Cindi Renee (Neil MacDonnell) of St. George, father David J. Corry (Judy Corry) of St. George. Siblings: Steven Michael Corry (Cedar City), Clark Austin Corry, Ryan Hunter Corry, Rachael Olivia Hansen, Kyle Rebecca MacDonnell, Kristi (John) Jones, Nicolle Loe, Courtney (Stacie) Loe, Samantha Loe, and Curtis Loe all of St. George. Grandparents: Joyce Ewald (Yoakum, Texas), John and Manon Corry (Cedar City). Also countless aunts, uncles, and other extended family and friends.

Devin was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather Rugal Morris.

The family would like to give special thanks to The Launching Pad Zion for embracing all of Devin’s magnificence.
