IVINS — A major road in Ivins was home to a three-car accident around 7 p.m. on Tuesday. A woman driving an SUV stopped

unexpectedly around 850 South, traveling on 200 East going north, Officer Chad Holt said. A station wagon hit the SUV from behind, then a truck hit the station wagon, sandwiching the station wagon between the two cars.
The woman driving the station wagon needed to be “extricated from her vehicle because of the impact” Holt said. She received injuries to her legs but no life threatening conditions resulted, Holt said, and was transported by ambulance to Dixie Regional Medical Center in St. George.
Others involved had minor injuries but did not require transportation from the police and opted to drive themselves to the emergency room, Holt said.
The investigation is ongoing regarding causes, citations and other factors.
This report is based on preliminary information provided by law enforcement or other emergency responders and may not contain the full scope of findings.

Well now, looks like 1) Obstructing traffic. 2) Following too closely 3) Following too closely and all three probably inattentive driving or distracted driving or whatever it is called here now.
Stupidity X 3.
