DRAPER — The last two of the four missing boys that ran away from Genesis Youth Center in Draper on Tuesday have been found. Authorities found them in Salt Lake City on Thursday shortly after 10 p.m. They were both taken to a detention facility, a press release from Department of Human Services said. The other two boys were found in Orem on Wednesday.
The investigation is ongoing and additional information has not been released at this time. According to reports given to police, the boys were seen on Interstate 15 possibly in a 2004 Isuzu Trooper Utility Vehicle that was reported stolen from JCW’s The Burger Boys Restaurant in Lehi. The Isuzu Trooper was stolen around 12:30 a.m. on Wednesday close to where the boys were seen leaving the center.
The boys are not considered dangerous but all have committed crimes that, had they been adults, would have been considered misdemeanors or felonies, Elizabeth Sollis of the Utah Department of Human Services said.

Now the the boys have been found. The school needs to investigate the staff. Its always some staff member who needs a troubled teens acceptience and sneaks them the keys to a company vehicle. sometimes night staff turns a blind eye and lets the kids sneak passed in hopes that the staff member gets to hook up with an older sister. I say this from experience, I was not only a student, but also staff at a nunber of schools for troubled teens. In the past it was never the student who was the mastermind, but the staff member was.

Sorry to tell you, but no, a staff didn’t let the kids “slip by”. The kids ran out of the gymnasium at the facility. I went to that youth center quite awhile back and the staff would never do that.
Alex is absolutely right. This is not a “school”, but more like a work camp where juveniles with large amounts of fines/work hours are able to work them off. Kids often run from this facility, which is stupid because they always get caught and make their situation even worse.
