DRAPER — Two of the four boys that ran away from Genesis Youth Center in Draper Tuesday have been found in Orem. They are being interviewed by Orem Police Department. Based on initial information it is believed the other two boys, ages 15 and 16, may be in Salt Lake County, according to a press release from the Utah Department of Human Services. The DHS requests the public’s help in locating these boys.
According to reports given to police, the boys have been seen on Interstate 15 possibly in a 2004 Isuzu Trooper Utility Vehicle that was reported stolen from JCW’s The Burger Boys Restaurant in Lehi. The Isuzu Trooper was stolen around 12:30 a.m. on Wednesday close to where the boys were seen leaving the center. The Isuzu Trooper’s license plate number is A207JV.
The boys were both wearing dark green sweatshirts and basketball shoes. The boys have family in Sandy and Draper.
Ed. note: Generally names and photos of juvenile offenders are not included in St. George News reports; an exception is made in this case in the interest of locating them as with any missing or runaway teen.
