BYU Theatre Ballet performs ‘Fariytales & Fantasy’ at DSU

ST. GEORGE – The BYU Theatre Ballet will perform a medley of classic storybook ballets on Saturday at 7:30 p.m. at the Dixie State University Cox Performing Arts Center. The performance will include excerpts from Swan Lake, Cinderella, Snow White and Sleeping Beauty.

Pre-show activities will take place at 6:30 p.m. and will include face painting, coloring, photo booths and the opportunity to meet the ballet dancers. Young patrons are encouraged to dress up in their best princess or knight costumes. As a special treat, children in the audience will be invited on stage during intermission to dance with the ballerinas. Parents and Grandparents are welcome to bring their cameras to capture the memories from this special evening.

Proceeds from the performance will benefit the Celebrity Concert Series Guild Performing Arts Scholarship at DSU.
