The St. George Communications Center first received a call from a family member at about 5:56 p.m. Dispatchers instructed the family member to have one of the stranded persons call 911 so that they could ping their cell phone and get a GPS coordinate as to where they were located, Crouse said.
As of 8:45 p.m., Wednesday, rescue crews had reached the victims and determined that there are no medical problems and they are all in good health. SAR is in the process of bringing them down off the mountain now, Crouse said.
