ST. GEORGE — St. George Police and Fire departments responded to a medical call involving a shooting at Rowdy’s Range and Shooters Supply, 610 North Industrial Road in St. George at about 6:58 p.m. on Friday.
Upon arriving, first responders found an adult man inside of the business in the range area who had a gunshot wound, St. George Police Lt. Joe Hartman said.
“Initial indications are that it was self inflicted,” Hartman said.

The investigation is ongoing by the investigations division, Hartman said, and no further details were available concerning the condition of the man or the circumstances involved.

Was this St George News commentator DoubleTap, working on perfecting his execution technique?
INB4 GUN NUTS TALK ABOUT “RESPECTING THE WEAPON”.
Those pics look like they were taken with one of those old disposable cameras.
My heart goes out for his family at this difficult time.
Pix probably taken by a cheap phone.
Lifeflight? Really! They are a couple of blocks from DRMC. it would take longer to land that thing then to drive.
Why is the suicide rate of StG so much higher than the national average? I thought this was Mayberry, or is everyone just pretending it’s Mayberry? But wow! Maybe the name should be Suicide George.
THE REASON EMT’S AND FIREFIGHTERS CALL LIFE FLIGHT ON AN INCIDENT LIKE THIS IS BECAUSE THEY DON’T KNOW HOW EXTREME THE PATIENT’S CONDITION IS. ONCE THE DECISION IS MADE TO LAUNCH LIFE FLIGHT, ON AVERAGE IT WILL TAKE THEM ABOUT 10 – 15 MINUTES TO TAKE OFF. IT’S BETTER TO GET ALL YOUR RESOURCES ON AN INCIDENT AND THEN IF YOU NEED TO CANCEL THEM, IT IS VERY EASY TO.
If a head injury they need to fly him to Vegas.
I would like to know any new developments about this incident. Where do I go within this site? Regarding a ‘suicide’ at a gun range, sounds strange to me. Perhaps an accident?? Why go to a gun range to ‘kill’ yourself?, unless one is trying to make an Anti Gun Statement??
