Monte loved life and everyone he came in contact with. He was a friend to everyone, especially those in need. Monte loved his family and the gospel of Jesus Christ so very much and his life was centered around them.

He grew up loving baseball and took State in 1980. Monte loved to garden and kept a beautiful yard. He kept his neighbors supplied with fresh veggies from the garden.
Monte loved sharing the gospel and his testimony with everyone. Monte had the ability to talk and befriend everyone, regardless of their walk of life. Everyone who knew Monte loved him. He was a man who was willing to help all those who needed, even the smallest thing.
Monte’s number one love was his wife, Lauretts, his boys, Bryant, Anthony, and Mickey and his girls, Ashley and Lexi. He loved his grandkids, Gavin, Ayden, and Alexis. His parents, siblings, nieces and nephews meant the world to him. He loved everyone and they loved him right back.
