SOUTHERN UTAH – Whether you are scrambling for that last minute plan for your Valentine or inspired by the stiff and cool Olympic competitions you’ve been watching in Sochi, the Bryce Canyon Winter Festival is on with a slate of options to fill the long weekend with good lovin’ fun for one or the whole family.

The Bryce Canyon Winter Festival starts Saturday and runs through Monday, promising a plethora of fun and competitive options: From cross country ski tours, snowshoe tours and races, archery clinics, a ski archery competition, kayaking demos, snow sculpture contests, sled races, and more, the Bryce Canyon Winter Festival has something for everyone.

And, arguably the part that makes it especially appealing and doable is that the majority of the winter festival events are free.
