SOUTHERN UTAH – The world famous Harlem Globetrotters will bring their spectacular show to the Cedar City Centrum Arena at 7 p.m. on Tuesday as a part of the 2014 “Fans Rule” World Tour.
The Globetrotters’ one of a kind family show features stars such as Special K Daley, Big Easy Lofton, Flight Time Lang and Dizzy Grant, along with many other fan favorites, including female stars TNT Maddox and T-Time Brawner.
The fans are always a part of the fun when the Globetrotters take the court.
The famous “Magic Circle” gets underway at center court, as the players take turns in a mesmerizing showcase of blazing ball handling prowess with each teammate highlighting his own unique skills. For the next 90 minutes, the Globetrotters exhibit a captivating assortment of trick shots and high-flying dunks with precise timing and an array of comedy. After virtually every game, Globetrotter stars remain on the court for autographs and photographs with fans.
The world famous Harlem Globetrotters have been thrilling families and millions of fans for 88 years while innovating the game in exciting new ways.
For the second year in a row, the family fun starts before fans even get to the arena. Fans can vote on rules that could impact the outcome of the game. Some of the rules fans can vote on include playing with two basketballs and a brand new Trick Shot Challenge in which teams are awarded extra points for making special trick shots. Fans can vote online and learn more about the rules on the Globetrotters’ website.
Magic Pass pre-game event
Fans are invited to learn the Globetrotter way by purchasing a Magic Pass to the pre-game event at 5:30 p.m. for an additional $20. Spectators will be able to experience special tricks and magical fun, first-hand. The Magic Pass also offers exclusive access for a free autograph when meeting Harlem Globetrotter players and the world-famous mascot, Globie. Attendees will need to purchase one Magic Pass per person. All Magic Pass customers must also have a game ticket for entry. Space to this event is limited.
Tickets to see the Globetrotters are still available and can be purchased at the door, but it is recommended that they be purchased online to avoid ticket lines.
