ST. GEORGE – Life flight was called to Sand Mountain in Hurricane on Saturday after an adult man was injured while riding a dirt bike.
“He had a helmet on, but his foot was crushed between his dirt bike and some rocks,“ said Laura Melling, the Sand Hollow complex park manager.
Life flight flew over Warner Valley in response to the call. While life flight was en route, the man transported himself to Dixie Regional Medical Center, Melling said.
The man has since left the hospital.
