I just called Sprindale City and they said there is not a fireworks show on New Years Eve.
The only things available in St George are eating, going to church and staying home talking about babies and grandbabies. Stupid mayor and council made everything else in this Footloose town illegal.
you can all go see live music at Jazzy’s rock and roll grill located on Bluff St. they have beer and great music, I do believe they just got a liquor liscence as well so you could enjoy a stiffer drink to ring in the New Year. 😉
What happened to St. George city’s 1st night celebration?
A couple years ago, Betty, when St. George celebrated its 150th birthday, the New Year’s Eve event (at one time called First Night, later Twilight to Midnight) got supplanted in favor of the Heritage Days Celebration. (Link to that report below.) And, they chose not to resume doing it the next year, and the next (this year).
Washington City, however, brings a community New Year’s Eve celebration this year for the whole family – indoors, warm, lots of fun things offered – here is the webpage on that event, in case you missed it in the story: http://www.heartofdixieutah.org/pages/events/upcoming/new-years-eve-family-fest/

I hope this helps! Oh, let me wish you a very Happy New Year, too! Happy happy 😀
