Game outlook: Dixie is hosting the Las Vegas Challenge. Coming in ranked eighth in the nation, DSU can expect its opponents’ best game every night. The Toros are led by their forwards, Crump and Freeman, in scoring. The Toro defense holds its opponents to worse shooting percentages, but their offense averages 16 turnovers per game, five more than their opponents. DSU has a balanced attack with Payne, Robbins, Thompson, Groskreutz and Louis Garrett all averaging 10 points or more. Dixie State has actually been outscored from the field this season, but average 10 free throws more per game than opponents, hitting 73 percent. The Red Storm is coming off a game where they were 17 points down to eke out the win. Expect them to come into this game more focused against the Toros.
