Hatch on Obama’s remarks re healthcare.gov website glitches

SALT LAKE CITY – Sen. Orrin Hatch issued the following statement today after the President delivered remarks regarding the technical challenges that have plagued healthcare.gov:

The launch of the ObamaCare exchanges has been nothing short of a disaster that’s rightly earned the derision of comedians and late night talk show hosts and the anger and frustration of the American people. For the first time in our nation’s history, every American is required to purchase health insurance even if they don’t want it. Yet three weeks into its launch, the web site for people to sign up for insurance still isn’t ready for primetime – and won’t be for some time. The question the Obama Administration must answer is why weren’t the ‘best and brightest’ working on this system from day one? This is a $400-plus million mistake at the taxpayer’s expense. It’s an embarrassment and, frankly, is all the more reason why this flawed law should be permanently delayed.

Did Orrin’s alarm clock go off? Go back to sleep Senator – you have only a little more than three years to go. Yes, the barn door is closed, we could have used you in support of the 18 Nay votes on HR 2775.

Orrin, you and your cronies had DECADES to come up with a plan. instead you chose to write sappy songs.

” . . . just one rock out of thousands.” So, yeah, let’s go out and tip over a few more. I mean, there’s enough for us to spend a couple years or so tipping rocks. And why do those park lovers make such a big deal about litter with all those thousands of acres to absorb it? And what’s the problem with leaving a few initials on the rocks and petroglyph panels? Hey, Bryan, I thought you were the apostle of personal responsibility? What was that all about, huh?

Look at all these puppet propping, state sucking, authoritarian @$$ kissing, fuedalistic serfdom loving commenters. I’m not here for the article. I’m here for yoy all. The same pack of wolves that will help bleed the nation dry. Civil war is realistic and so is civil unrest. I hope you all learn the govt is not the answer. But we the people are. What truth should I try to bring to light about the obamacare website or obamacare or the president or govt or politics in general?
