Lane change collision on Red Cliffs Drive

WASHINGTON –  An accident on the 900 West block of Red Cliffs Drive near Albertsons in Washington backed up afternoon traffic until roads could be cleared.

The collision involved a a silver sport utility vehicle and a white van and occurred around 3:15 p.m. when “one car changed lanes into another,” Washington City Police spokesman Ed Kantor said. There was “improper lookout on the part of one driver and a couple of them got tangled up.”

No transports for medical care were required and injuries reported.
