Heartbreaker! Dixie State loses to CWU on last-second FG

ELLENSBURG, Wash. — Sean McDonald booted a 44-yard field goal with one second left on the clock to lead Central Washington to a come from behind 27-24 victory over visiting Dixie State Saturday afternoon.

Dixie State led 17-3 at the half and held a 24-17 lead with less than three minutes left in the game. But the Wildcats took advantage of a poor DSU punt and drove 45 yards to tie the game at 24-24 with 2:23 left on a Jesse Zalk 7-yard run.
