WASHINGTON CITY – Three men were arrested on drug charges after a traffic stop led to the discovery of alleged narcotics possibly packaged for distribution.
Ed Kantor, of the Washington City Police, said that at around 4 p.m., Wednesday, a Wasington City Police officer stopped a vehicle for a registration violation while on routine patrol.
During the stop officers found a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia in the car. Preliminary field tests on the substance returned positive for possible cocaine. The alleged cocaine also appeared to be packaged for distribution.
The three men in the car, Daniel Zitting, 22, of Helper, Utah; Tyrone Barlow, 20, of Colorado City, and Enoch Barlow, 19, of St. George, were arrested on multiple drug charges related to drug possession, distribution, and paraphernalia. Zitting was additionally charged with traffic violations related to the traffic stop.
The three men were booked into the Purgatory Correctional Facility.
