SOUTHERN UTAH – On Saturday, September 7 at 10 a.m., a water-wise workshop will share information to help you understand how your sprinkler system works and how to make it more efficient. This will also go over new water-efficient technologies that are available. This workshop is free and will be held at the Tonaquint Nature Center in Tonaquint Park complex located at 1851 S Dixie Drive.

yeah, let’s all save sprinkler water so land owners and developers can build freakin’ golf courses
Let’s save water so we can water parks AFTER a huge freakin’ rainstorm.
Let’s save water so we can leave sprinklers on in the parks that create enough runoff that travels two blocks, around the corner and down the street.
Don’t believe it? Check out Firehouse Park off of Dixie Downs. The water flows out of the park, down the street, around the corner and down 1700N. Oh, and don’t bother talking to our mayor about it. He’ll just tell you that it’s on a timer, which I guess no one thinks to turn off.
Save water so some fool can have a nice green lawn in the second driest state..
And, while we’re saving water for someone else to waste, let’s not even begin to think of putting in rain catchment systems, or even a rain barrel. . that would take too much thought, common sense and of course, there’s not enough money in it.
