WASHINGTON – A public forum for the Washington City Council and mayoral candidates will be held at the Staheli Family Farm Monday at 6 p.m. Voters will have the opportunity to meet the candidates and ask them about the issues facing the city. Perspectives radio show co-host and St. George News columnist Kate Dalley will also be speaking at the forum, which will be hosted by local political blogger and St. George News columnist William Way.

Too bad St George candidates won’t have this public forum. It would be interesting to see if the mayor can respond with something other than asking if you’re from Dixie or singing Dixie.
If the mayor keeps getting re-elected it is obvious the majority of the city wants the same things. He doesn’t put himself in office. You should try whistling dixie sometime might just help your attitude about life.
