ST. GEORGE – A semitrailer and a passenger car collided in the intersection of River Road and Riverside Drive Monday evening, temporarily blocking the roadways.
St. George Police Sgt. Albert Gilman said a silver passenger car was making a left turn into the intersection and turned in front of an oncoming semitrailer. The collision occurred around 5:35 p.m., creating traffic delays for a time until the intersection was cleared by police.
The semi was able to be driven away from the scene while the passenger car had to be towed.
No injuries were reported in connection with the crash. The scene was completely cleared by 6:10 p.m.
