WASHINGTON CITY – The body of a 27-year-old woman was discovered Tuesday in a car in the Indian Springs subdivision off of Washington Fields Road.
Washington City Police Lt. Dennis Bailey said the woman was an area resident who had been reported missing the night before. She was found deceased in a vehicle parked on Shinob Kibe Drive Tuesday morning. Currently the cause of death is undetermined, he said, though he added it did not appear to be suspicious.
An autopsy has been ordered to determine the official cause of death.
As the investigation surrounding the woman is currently active and ongoing, Bailey was unable to comment on specifics related to the case. The police also have yet to release the name of the deceased.
Additional information may be available Wednesday morning.

I guess that no comment by Mr Bailey means that a murderer isn’t on the loose in the area? We don’t need specifics about what happened but the general population needs to know if a danger is abound!!
The article says it didnt look suspicious. So it seems if there is not anything pointing at foul play then based on what they have said , there is not a murderer on the loose.
Last night this story read that the police suspected it was a suicide. And today that part of the story is gone?
Mikki, it is still there, it was in the sequel story (link below); Washington PD did not anticipate releasing further findings unless the investigation takes an unexpected turn.
