ST. GEORGE – A collision at the intersection of 100 South and River Road impacted heavy early-afternoon traffic Monday.
A white passenger car collided with a red pickup truck around 2 p.m. The impact flattened both tires on the passenger side of the pickup and left heavy damage on the front passenger side of the white passenger car.
A witness at the scene indicated the white passenger car T-boned the red pickup, though this has yet to be confirmed by the St. George Police Department.
The white passenger car came to a stop on the road just beyond the intersection, while the red pickup remained in the intersection. St. George Police officers responded to the scene and began to direct traffic around the two vehicles until they could be towed away.
The scene was cleared by 2:40 p.m. and traffic returned to normal.
No one was injured in the incident. Details surrounding the crash, as well as any possibly citations may be added by update as that information is received from the Police Department.
