Stewart on US House’s vote for full repeal of Obamacare

WASHINGTON D.C. –  Rep. Chris Stewart issued the following statement yesterday after the House voted to repeal the Affordable Care Act:

“Today, the House voted in favor of a full repeal of Obamacare. To some, this vote may seem redundant, as the House has voted to repeal this legislation in the past, but the message of its repeal is extremely important. Obamacare is killing economic activity, it’s killing jobs, and it’s only going to get worse. There is a reason why democratic leaders are calling this legislation a train wreck. The more we learn about it, the worse it is.”

“The original purpose of the Affordable Care Act was to drive health insurance premiums down, but instead, it has done the exact opposite — driving  up premiums as much as 400 percent. We can do better. We must replace this law with legislation that will lower health costs, improve the quality of care and protect American jobs.”

SOMETHING has got to be done so the “regular working Joe” can afford health insurance. If you don’t work and contribute to taxes then you get Medicaid for free, if you have a job that pays very well you can purchase health insurance but the rest of us are SOL!
I work full time and with the wages in Utah I can not afford any private health, dental or vision insurance and the company I work for does not have to offer any either. I have some serious health issues that can kill me but I can not afford to go back to my doctors because I work to feed my family! I have a large lump in my breast but I can not afford to go to the doctor more less have any treatment because I work for a living. Past medications have destroyed my teeth yet I can not afford to go to a dentist, I was diagnosed with a tumor behind my eye and am losing my vision but I can not afford to have the surgery because I work to support my family.
SOMETHING HAS GOT TO BE DONE but the ones saying “NO HEALTH CARE” are the ones who can afford health insurance.
NOT A SOLE CARES ABOUT THE AVERAGE TAX PAYER!!!!!

Welcome to Utah where the Republicans rule! They purposely repress wages and reap the profits. It isn’t by accident that wages are bottom barrel around here, greed is king. Obamacare might have some good parts but mostly it needs to be repealed.
