SkyWest launches St. George-Denver flights, $99 fare

ST. GEORGE – SkyWest Airlines’ new United Express flights between St. George and Denver, Colo. will begin June 6. To celebrate the new service, SkyWest is launching an introductory fare, offering nonstop flights as low as $99 (subject to terms and conditions) each way, based on required round-trip purchase. These low fares are available for purchase on united.com today through June 20 with 14 days advance purchase. All travel must be completed on or before Sept. 25, 2013.

The new United flights directly from St. George to Denver will be provided by SkyWest Airlines utilizing the 50-passenger Canadair Regional Jet 200 (CRJ200).

“We’re excited to continue to provide SkyWest’s hometown with access to the world’s largest airline network through United,” SkyWest Airlines President and COO Chip Childs said. “This new service opens a new gateway for St. George travelers to Denver and the more than 120 United destinations beyond.”

The convenient flight schedules provide travelers with even more connection opportunities in Denver.

The once-daily flights will be scheduled Monday through Sunday as follows:

Denver to St. George: Departing 11:15 a.m., arriving 1 p.m.

St. George to Denver: Departing 1:30 p.m., arriving 3:08 p.m.

Members of United’s MileagePlus loyalty program flying between St. George and Denver will also accrue MileagePlus miles.  United is offering new low fares and nearly 380 daily departures in the Mile High City.

Flight schedules vary and may be subject to change. All prices are each way, based on round-trip purchase; restrictions apply. Tickets must be purchased at least 14 days prior to departure, but no later than 11:59 pm, central time, June 20, 2013.  All travel must be completed on or before September 25, 2013. Taxes and Fees


Quoted fare includes base fare, surcharges and 7.5 percent U.S. excise tax, and the following:

  • Passenger facility charges (PFCs) of up to $18 per round trip
  • September 11th Security Fee of up to $10 per round trip; one-way travel may incur fees in excess of $5
  • U.S. segment fees of $3.80 per flight segment (a flight segment consists of one takeoff and one landing)

Quoted fare does not include the following charges that may apply to your travel itinerary:

A $50 fee will be charged for paper tickets issued by United. Tickets will cost $25 more per person if booked by telephone and $30 more per person if booked at an airport ticket office.
