ST. GEORGE – The St. George Exchange Club has honored five local students as their March 2013 Students of the Month.
The students are: Kevin Chaves, Pine View High School, Wesley Ian Sullivan, Snow Canyon High School, Mary Garceau, Tuacahn High School, Aspen Lowe, Desert Hills High School and Chandlie Stratton, Dixie High School.
All students honored by the St. George Exchange Club throughout the year are high school seniors and are recognized for their scholastic achievements, community involvement and leadership at their respective school. One of the eight students honored from each high school throughout the year as a Student of the Month will have the opportunity to become Student of the Year and receive a scholarship to the college or university of their choice from the club.
The St. George Exchange Club helps members develop leadership, networking and organizational skills that contribute to success in business, family and personal endeavors. Founded in 1974, it is associated with The National Exchange Club, a national all-volunteer service organization based in Toledo, Ohio. Its primary focus is child abuse prevention and aims to ignite the spirit of community service across the nation.
