ST. GEORGE – Once a year the Dixie College Foundation holds a fundraising Gala called Fire and Ice. This is a fundraising event to be used completely for need-based scholarships and will be held March 1 at the SunRiver Clubhouse, starting at 5:30 p.m.
The contributions donated and all funds raised through the Fire and Ice Gala will allow Dixie State University students who, because of financial constraints, may not otherwise be able to complete or pursue their college education.
All are invited to participate in this event, through donations and attendance at the Gala.
Both a silent and live auction will be held as part of the evening’s events, with donor credit given. Contributions are needed. It could be a single item, large or small, or several items from a basket or container filled with multiple items to gift certificates, furniture, trips, use of condominiums, cabins, art work, golf packages, all the way to “practically anything” can be offered through the auctions. The larger items usually go in the live auction.
The Foundation holds 501(c)3 status allowing for tax deductible contributions.
