Dixie’s fast break and free throw shooting proved to be too much Wednesday night as the Flyers grounded the Canyon View Falcons 68-56 Wednesday night.
Four different players scored in double-figures for Dixie, which improved to 5-9 overall and 2-2 in region play.
Jordan Hall led the Flyers with 17 points, but was helped along by Blake Barney’s 13, Kyler Smith’s 12 and Kyle Hansen’s 11 points.
Dixie led by nine after one quarter and pushed the lead to as many as 20 points before giving way to a small comeback by the Falcons. The Flyers were solid at the line, though, preserving the win by hitting 29 of 39 free throws (80 percent).
Canyon View got 22 points from Brady Barrett, but fell to 6-8 overall and 0-3 in region play.
