SOUTHERN UTAH – October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month and to support cancer treatment in Southern Utah, Cherry Creek Radio Cares, the City of St. George and Cedar City have partnered with Hurst Ace Hardware to “Light the Town Pink.”
From Oct. 8-19, the public is encouraged to buy special pink light bulbs at their local Hurst Ace Hardware store and install them in the front of their home or business. All funds raised as a result of the bulb sales will benefit The Foundation of Dixie Regional Medical Center and The Huntsman-Intermountain Cancer Center at Valley View Medical Center.
This will be an annual event to raise awareness and support those in need of mammograms and cancer treatment in the community.
Help save a life, one light at a time.
