Hillside fire above Ballard’s Auto Wrecking in Hurricane

UPDATED 10:20 p.m. per communication with Hurricane Fire Chief.

HURRICANE –  A fire broke out south of the Pah Tempe Hot Springs above Ballard’s Auto Wrecking, between Hurricane and LaVerkin, this evening.

Fire Chief Tom Kuhlmann of Hurricane Fire Department said, at 10:20 p.m., the fire is under control and nearly out.

Cause of the fire is under investigation. Investigation will continue in the morning.
