Stevens-Henager awards scholarships to Snow Canyon and Enterprise students

ST. GEORGE – Two Washington County high school students have been awarded scholarships from Stevens-Henager College.  Scholarships are awarded on the basis of academic performance, assessment scores, as well as career and educational goals.

Kallie Johnson, a senior at Snow Canyon High School, was presented with the Presidential Scholarship, an award for full tuition.  Johnson intends to pursue a Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare Administration.  Her proud parents are Greg and Jennifer Johnson.

Sara Johnson, a senior at Enterprise High School, was awarded an Academic Scholarship totaling $7,500. Johnson intends to pursue an Associate Degree in Medical Specialties. Her proud parents are Steven and Clairene Twitchell.

Stevens-Henager College was established in 1891 and has trained generations of graduates for new careers in high demand jobs. The graduate degree programs provide flexibility for working professionals. The college offers fast track Associates and Bachelor degrees in Medical Specialties, Business Administration, Accounting, Computer Graphics and Computer Technology and Networking. Classes are offered at night and online and, starting July 30, it will be offering day classes. The MBA classes offered by Stevens-Henager are fully online. The college also offers free GED diploma preparation and pays for the certification.

Stevens-Henager College is located at 720 South River Road.  The campus opened in August 2009.  There are several scholarships still available to 2012 graduates.
