Cedar City – It’s time! – Time to landscape, redo, remodel, and build. Spring is here and that means home building and home projects. Do you need some ideas and advice?
On Friday and Saturday, April 27-28, over 45 exhibitors from the home and garden industry will be showcased at the Iron County Home Builders Association’s Spring Home & Garden Fair at the SUU Sharwan Smith Center. The event is known as the premier spring home event in Iron County and features the best products and services related to home improvement, remodeling, building, home technology, landscape, decorating, outdoor living and related home products and services.
Fair hours are 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday.
The Cedar City Spring Home & Garden Fair is promising more than just a stroll through vendor booths. There will be prizes and giveaways along with a line-up of entertainment that includes bands and dance groups.
Friday evening at the Fair will feature entertainment from the Sillbeedog, a local band playing 60s, 70s and 80s rock, including Tom Hughes, Rand Colbert, Mat Sorensen, Ed Lamb, and David Harris. Saturday will include entertainment from local dance and entertainment groups for your enjoyment.
With experts on hand from over 45 exhibitors in the home remodeling and repair, landscaping, retail sales, service, and construction industries, there is an opportunity to get advice and information from a variety of experts and businesses in the home industry.
On Saturday morning ICHBA will hold a benefit breakfast, sponsored by SUU Chartwells and Funder Welding, for one of Cedar City’s well known builders, David Seals, owner of Samco Building and past ICHBA president. All proceeds will go to the David Seals who is currently battling liver cancer. The breakfast is April 28, 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. at the Sharwin Smith Center. $5 minimum per-person donation will get you a full breakfast and admission into the fair.
Fair tickets are $3 at the door or available FREE at the following Platinum Sponsors IFA Country Stores and AHERN Rentals and in your April ValPak envelope (not including breakfast). Gold Sponsors of the event are Jake Hulet Construction, Daily Builders, Downtown Furniture, and Rocky Ridge Landscape Rock.
