County drug task force serves multiple warrants for spice

WASHINGTON COUNTY – The Washington County Area Drug and Gang Task Force served several search warrants Wednesday and arrested numerous people for the manufacture and sale of suspected Spice or its analog.  The resulting warrants and arrests were the culmination of an eight-month investigation.

The investigation began from a tip regarding purchasing, possessing, and using Spice.  The investigation led to a local person who was manufacturing Spice or its analog.  Several local smoke shops were also involved through their sale of the manufactured product.

The investigation is still being conducted and more arrests may be made.

Information is limited at this time and as will be updated as additional information becomes available.

    With all that is going on these days this is the best they can do how about getting the heroin dealer out of my neighborhood? They(The Police) know him know he is a dealer but still he is walking around free as a bird selling that poison to children!

    Id have to agree. They should be more focused. On hardcore drugs and people that sell them to anyone to make a buck regardless of their age. At least you were unable to get spice until you are 19
