ST. GEORGE – Spring is around the corner, which means the grass is growing, flip flops are starting to appear and spring cleaning is on many people’s to do list. Get a jump on spring by cleaning out your closets and garages for a good cause. Red Cliffs Mall and the Habitat for Humanity ReStore are hosting the first annual Get your Green On! donation drive on Saturday, March 17, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the mall’s northeast parking lot.
St. George residents are encouraged to donate reusable items for Habitat for Humanity ReStore, which will have a bin from Big Brothers & Big Sisters to accept clothing donations as well. Virgin Valley Recycling will also be on site to accept electronic items such as computers, cell phones, printers, copiers, and much more! Plus, family fun with a visit from Washington County Solid Waste’s Binnie to help educate residents on recycling, free face painting, balloon animals for kids; and in honor of St. Patty’s, one lucky donator will have a chance to win a $100 gift card from Red Cliffs Mall.
Donations of furniture, electronics, newspaper, cardboard, and plastics are welcome. So come get your green on and have some fun with us at Red Cliffs Mall on St. Patrick’s Day. Donate, Recycle and Be Green!
