ST. GEORGE – The Southern Utah Heritage Choir will present a musical fireside, “Abiding in Christ,” on Sunday, March 11, at p.m. at the St. George Tabernacle at 18 S. Main St, featuring renowned speaker, Dr. A. Lynn Scoresby.  He is a popular speaker with national and international acclaim, and has written over 20 books relating to marriage, children, parenting, and families.  Audiences are uplifted and motivated by his remarks.

Under the baton of Floyd Rigby, and the accompaniment of Dr. Nancy Allred, piano, and Karen Lee Cantera, organ, the choir will sing a beautiful repertoire of musical selections set to the theme that will include the anthem, “God of our Fathers,” and  “Fairest Lord Jesus.”

Following Dr. Scoresby’s remarks, the choir will sing, “Do Not Let Your Heart Be Troubled,” and a musical composition by Floyd Rigby, “Do This in Remembrance of Me,” a recollection of Christ’s final meeting with his disciples.  The choir will then close with “O Divine Redeemer.”

We invite all to come and enjoy an evening of inspiration.  Admission is free.
