ST. GEORGE – The Dixie Flyers (2-1, 6-6) host their rival the Pine View Panthers (0-2,7-4) tonight at 7 p.m. When the Flyers and Panthers get together on their rivalry seems to come out.
The Flyers went 2-0 last week upsetting two of the top five teams in the state. The Flyers beat Hurricane by three points at Hurricane on Wednesday and beat Cedar by one point at home on Friday. The Flyers also have their leading scorer, Walker Swenson, back after missing almost a month of game time.
The Panthers went 0-1 last week losing to Hurricane at home on Friday night. This is a very big game for the Panthers. Not only is this a rivalry game, but the Panthers cant afford to fall into a 0-3 hole in Region play.
