ST. GEORGE – The St. George Police Department responded to the report of a robbery at 54 E. 300 S. on Dec. 11, at 9:10 p.m.
An adult female was at the above residence checking in on her 100-year-old mother. She said a masked male entered the residence through an unlocked front door, stood in the entryway, waived a handgun around, and demanded she get on the floor. Officers circulated the area, canvassed the complex, and contacted citizens for potential witnesses. The suspect was not located.
Police arrived on the scene one minute after the call was made.
The suspect was described as an adult white male, between 30 and 40 years old, approximately 5 foot 8 inches tall, and weighing between 160 and 180 pounds. He had short dark hair, wore blue jeans and a dark, possibly maroon, colored jacket. He had a red bandanna fashioned as a mask around the lower part of his face. He spoke in clear, unaccented English.
The scene was processed for evidence by officers on scene. There were no injuries associated with the incident and no property was stolen or damaged.
