ST. GEORGE – The fourth and final race of the RMX Fall South racing series will take place at the St. George MX track on Dec. 10 and 11.

Michon Palmer, the track manager, said the two-day event would feature a series of races that will encompass 40cc and 450cc-class bike runs, as well as everything in between.

“It’s fun for families,” Palmer said.

The St. George MX track opened its gates to the public in September and has provided a playground for motocross and ATV-enthusiasts on the weekends since then. The track hosted it first official race, the second round of the RMX Fall South Series, in October.

Adult spectators to the races will be charged $10 per person. Children between 5 and 11 will be $5. Children under 5 get in free.  Concession stands open during the races.

The gates will open at 6 a.m., with the races beginning at 8 a.m. on Dec. 10 and 11.

The track will be open for practice runs on Dec. 9, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.  The practice charge for riders is $25. Spectators to the practice events get in for free.
