Innaugural Gala Fundraising Dinner to promote clean air

ST. GEORGE –  The Southwest Utah Public Health Foundation will be holding its innaugural Gala Fundraising Dinner on Saturday, Oct. 22, at the Courtyard Marriott Hotel in St. George.  The Gala will begin at 6 p.m. with Sterling Poulson, Senior Meteorologist at KUTV 2News, as the featured speaker, shown at the right.

“We want to invite our community to join us in supporting clean air in Washington County,” said Foundation Finan

ce Officer Jeff Shumway. “We’re excited to have Sterling Poulson as our guest of honor. Gala proceeds will benefit the Foundation and allow us to purchase air quality monitors for use in our local district.”

The Gala will also feature a silent auction and live music.

Tickets are $40 each or $75 per couple or $300 for a table of six. They can be purchased by phone, calling 986-2585, or in person at the Southwest Utah Public Health Department, 620 South 400 East, Suite 400, St. George.
