SUSWA’s fall concert series in full swing

ST. GEORGE – Now in its 10th season, the Southern Utah Song Writers Association continues to showcase local talent in the Fall Concert Series at Ancestor Square.

SUSWA’s Fall Concert Series takes place each Thursday in September, and starts at 7 p.m. It is held in the Ancestor Square Courtyard. Each concert is free to the public.

SUSWA’s President Rich Panessa invites people to come to Ancestor Square for the concerts because it is “a wonderful place to hear a show and relax and shop.”

Previous talents featured during the 2011 Fall Concert Singers have included Patrick Swansborough and Miki McMullin, Rock ‘n Horse, Jim Darling and Less Than Lucid.

Future concerts with feature Mark Stevens and Steve Lemmon on Sept. 15, Jerry Allen and Mason Cottam on Sept. 22, and Rich Wilkinson and Lyndy Butler on Sept. 29.

SUSWA was founded in 2002 as a place where local songwriters could come together to share and develop their talents, as well as provide venues for public performances. You have made a typo. It is Lyndy Butler not Lynda who is playing on Sept. 29.
