ST. GEORGE – Jessica Johnson, 25, and her daughter Anna Johnson, 3, who went missing on July 4, and reported as such to the St. George Police Department by her husband, Billy, have been found.  More accurately, Jessica has contacted both her mother, Aquila Fisk, and the St. George Police to confirm they are safe and okay.

The St. George Police Department has confirmed that they have spoken to Jessica, and she and her daughter are no longer listed as “missing.”

Fisk and her husband, Patt, formerly of Hurricane, currently live out of state.  Fisk told St. George News last night that Jessica leaves and comes back quite often, however not with the kids, which gave her some specific concerns.

“My concern at this time is the heat, she is on foot, the people she may be hanging with, she may not have her meds, she also sleeps in and I worry what Anna will be doing while (Jessica) is sleeping,” Fisk said.

Fisk said that Jessica and her husband Billy do not have a place of their own and do not have a car to drive.  She expressed concern that Jessica is likely depressed.

Jessica called her mother this morning to tell her she is okay.  Fisk woke up this morning and started her morning with prayer for her daughter and granddaughter.

“I woke up just a little while before she called I was asking God to have her call, soon after that she called.I praise God for an answered prayer God is so good,” she said.

She noted encouragement she received on her Facebook wall:

Anne Graham Lotz
“You always hear Me.” John 11:42

“God is a good listener,” expressed Fisk.

According to Fisk, Jessica does not want to go back because of personal marital issues.  Private matters to be respected, no details pried.

Fisk expresses appreciation for prayers and concern, and concludes this episode aptly, “God is sooo good .Please keep Jessica and family in your prayers.”
