SPANISH FORK – A Spanish Fork mother of two who has been missing since Friday evening was apparently found safe.
ABC4 reports that Kim Shields was found with her 20-year-old employee, Ryan Rollins, in California. St. George News had previously described the missing employee as Ryan Rawlings.
Lt. Steve Adams with the Spanish Fork Police Department said Kim Shields and Rollins were found on a dirt road near San Diego around 1 a.m. today sleeping in the car. He said they were both there of their own accord and planned to drive back to Utah today or tomorrow.
According to Adams, Kim Shields told authorities she just needed some time to figure things out.
Her husband, Jacob Shields, had feared she was a danger to herself because she did not have any of her medications with her.
