ST. GEORGE – If Facebook reports are to be believed, The Spectrum’s News Editor Ed Kociela is moving out of Utah and leaving his journalism career with The Spectrum.
An event created by Ed, his wife Cara and another individual, has stated that Ed and Cara will be having a Going Away Party in April, before they move “somewhere warmer.” Cara Kociela commented on Facebook that they were moving to Cabo.
According to Ed Kociela’s biography, he has nearly 40 years of professional writing experience, beginning with a small newspaper in California. His credentials include working at metros, including the Los Angeles Herald-Examiner.
Ed Kociela has received awards from the Associated Press and the Society of Professional Journalists. He has many online columns and a blog.
A call to Ed Kociela has not been returned and there is currently no word on who his replacement at The Spectrum will be.
